HOW ENTANGLED COMPANIES MOVE BEYOND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT FOR REMARKABLE RESULTS
Many years ago, we learned the potentials of an organization that employs an engaged workforce that focus on specialized leadership strategies to increase employee engagement.
But what happens when engagement isn’t enough? Can organizations move beyond an engaged workforce?
Is that even possible?
Emerald Literati award-winning book, It’s My Company Too!, unravels the marvels of an entangled workforce.
Not to be confused with “tangled” or “tangled up,” entangled workforces are with their organizations by choice because they are so committed to the company as a whole–to their team, to their co-workers and to the company’s mission–that they are woven into the very fabrics of what makes the organization run.
The systems, the processes, the values, the employees, the leadership team… they are all so artistically interlaced that it’s difficult to tell where one ends and the other begins.
Entangled organizations are rare, and yet they do exist.
Together with Professors Dr. Kenneth R. Thompson and Dr. Ramon L. Benedetto with creative writer Molly Meyer, we studied eight award-winning, entangled organizations using evidence-based research and interviews and turned those studies into a book.
Throughout the book, we reveal individual pieces of the puzzle, showcasing how these eight organizations reached entanglement.
Each chapter reveals a single puzzle piece and finishes with a set of exercises so those reading with a purpose can apply our findings to their organization. In the end, we leave readers with a full, nine-piece puzzle to utilize in bringing entanglement to their own organizations.
